Envirogirls Presentation Night

On Tuesday the 31st of July, Karima, Zahra and I from Envirogirls were invited to the Paradise Hotel by the Rotary Club. We were asked to do a presentation on who we are and what we do as Envirogirls.

Some of the Rotary Club members also brought their children along to support us on the night by playing instruments, singing songs and performing monologues.

We all had dinner there and brought a badge making machine along so that the children could make their own badges.

For our presentation we all spoke about our vision, aims, activities and achievements.

On the night we also did an auction to sell the Envirogirls coffee cups and Travel mugs. The coffee cups went for $15 each and we were very surprised that we auctioned off 4 travel mugs for $25 each!

It was a great experience and a lot of fun, particularly creating more awareness of environmental issues.
