Who are the 'Envirogirls'?

Envirogirls was started on the 7th of December because the 5/6s had an organisation called Youth Out Loud come in to talk to us about what we feel passionate about.

Karima and Ella were in the environmental issues group and they realised how important the environment really is. Karima decided to start her own group to make everyone be aware of what is happening in the environment. The group now consists of Zahra, Samantha, Annemieke, Piper and the newest member Caitlyn as well as the two other girls. They did a garage sale to fund their activities and the running of the group on the 21st of Jan. They raised a total of $315! Having to pay for the flyers and logo designs, they have a total of $200 in their kitty.

Our aim is to create an awareness of environmental issues with our friends from school, our families, the wider community, Australia and the world! We want to encourage everyone to do simple things every day to make a difference to the environment and to our world! With knowledge come caring and from caring comes change!
